Early in the morning, while we were getting ready to go out for our morning walk, I received a voice message from our friend. It was to inform us that she had bought breakfast for us and wanted us to collect it on our way home because we were not allowed to dine-in.
We shared the 3 small pieces of roti canai. It was a filling breakfast after drinking our home made hot milo and Nescafe drink.
After breakfast, I went out to the garden to water my plants and harvested the above cucumber.

LUNCH
For lunch, I steamed a small portion of the boneless smoked duck and cooked noodle for hubby. The liquid from the steamed smoked duck was used for mixing the noodle. I didn't want any noodle so I ate the potato, long bean and cucumber salad dressed with roasted sesame dressing.

DINNER
I steamed the last portion of the boneless smoked duck for dinner.
I sauteed some home grown long beans with garlic and salt.
We had plain rice porridge with steamed smoked duck and sauteed long beans.
After washing up, I took the garbage out and took these snapshot of the evening sky at 7:18pm.
The sun has set behind the Kledang Hills.
This hibiscus plant is near where I placed my garbage. Can you see the burnt edges of the petals? I don't know what happened.
The other flower from the same plant was spared and its petals were not affected.

won't he also surely give us everything else?

Too hot for the flowers? Still cannot dine in? Kl can dine in already before cny. The smoke duck for dinner is a lot so I think both of you cannot finish it. Your cucumber is so thick that it looks like hairy gourd/melon. Does it have tiny hairs on its skin?
ReplyDeleteNo dine-in during MCO but will be able to dine-in starting 19th Feb. There is no hair on the cucumber skin but there is tiny prickly crystal like thing on the skin.
DeleteI didn't know that the rules are different between Ipoh and kl about dining in. Kl is still in mco but can dine in just before cny starts.
DeleteYes, the dine-in ruling started just before CNY and only for 2 people per table. Our regular coffee shop only allows dine in a few days later because of some stubborn customers refusing to follow the sop of 2 people per table. So the boss got fed-up trying to explain to these elderly folks.
DeleteOic. Thanks for the details. The boss made the right decision. No dine in if the customers don't want to follow sop.
DeleteIt was only for 3 days, after that dine-in was allowed.
DeleteI will try this again. .love your beautiful flowers.
