Growing Cucumber & Long Beans In My Garden

While I was at the plant nursery, I bought a few sachets of vegetable seeds and one of them is the cucumber seeds. I sowed the seeds during the rainy season and the seedlings grew fast.

I didn't keep track of how long it took for the plants to bud, flower and to bear fruit. I only started to take snapshots when the tidy cucumbers appeared.

Some tidy cucumbers dried up and dropped off but others started to grow in size like the one above.

Every morning when I watered the plants, I checked on the cucumber.

I finally harvest this cucumber, the first fruit from the cucumber plants.

That same morning, I also harvest the above long beans. I am thankful for the good harvest from the cucumber and long bean vines.
