The warm weather made the cook feel tired and lazy, so kitchen was closed.
Hubby went out to buy takeaway clay pot chicken rice.

This place also serves ready cooked dishes with white rice.

When that time comes, people will no longer say,
'The parents ate the sour grapes,
but the children got the sour taste.'
Instead, those who eat sour grapes
will have their own teeth set on edge;
and everyone will die because of their own sin."

  2. My kunyit leaves are flourishing! So big, so nice to wrap fish and put in the oven to bake - like the one in my blogpost today. It gives a much nicer fragrance than banana leaves. It will often flower too!!! Nice to use for cooking and for ulam.

    Wowwww...so many prawns in the kway teow/mee! That must cost quite a bit!

Is the yam bean fritters almost the same as cucur udang? I see got prawns on the yam bean fritters too. I welcome purple and pink wishbone flowers growing in my front yard. So pretty.

  13. Yambean fritters sound good to me. I'm a fan of the usual 'sar kok liew' - used to tapau some from Dai Shee Keok to last me a while in KL.
