Fiery Sunrise After A Wind Storm

This was Thursday, 23rd Sept. morning. There was strong, howling wind the previous night, followed by a short heavy downpour.

6:50am - starting our morning walk.
Can still see the moon in the sky - 6.51am.
Sunrise at 6:57am.
Sunrise at 6:58am.
Fiery sunrise at 6:58am.
Sunrise at 6:59am.
Uprooted tree, first sighting of damage from the previous night wind storm.
This uprooted tree doesn't have much root.
Good thing, the tree fell on the side of the road and not across the road.
Golden sunrise at 7:17am.
The sunrise reflected on the house on the right.
Another sighting of damage.
A broken branch fell on the concrete wall of the school.
Morning sky and Kledang Hill.
My purple hearts plant.
A close up of the purple heart flower.

Silver and gold are purified by fire,
but God purifies hearts.
(Proverbs 17:3, The Living Bible-TLB)

  11. Call me timid, I feel frightened sometimes hearing the howling wind of the storm, especially if it is at night.

No rainbow after the rain but got beautiful fiery sunrise after a storm. It looks like the sky is on fire!

Lucky that no one is injured from the uprooted tree.

The purple hearts flower looks so beautiful and purple is one of my favorite colour.

  12. Greetings and Salutations! I am so sorry that the storm came and did damage in your area. Nancy, glad you and hubby are safe and sound. Hoping your family and friends are safe too. We have been having rain, wind and hail but lately, beautiful Fall weather has moved into the area with blue skies, trees bursting with color and calm water instead of white caps on the lakes. Love your purple flowers and I always read the biblical verses you share.

  18. Must have been a really wild thunderstorm ⛈️. Luckily no cars were damaged in the thunderstorm. Your purple heart flower is so lovely! Your photo of the purple heart flower has bokeh effect where the background is blur and the flower is sharp in focus, very good photo! 👍 What camera or hp did you use to get that photo? I still cannot get nice bokeh effect using my hp camera.
