Another day with overcast sky with some sunlight. Grateful for washing machine. The spinning process helps the clothes to dry even without the hot sun. The warm air circulating around will dry the hanging clothes. Somehow, I still prefer to dry my clothes under the sun, at least for a few hours because the sunshine and fresh air will make the clothes smell nice, fresh and dry. Plus, sunlight kills bacterial.
We were out of our house by 6:52am.
Facing Kledang Hill - 7:15am
Outside the nearby school - 7:18am.
Nice to see the sunlit sky - 7:19am.

Nothing special, just the usual breakfast so I didn't take any snapshots.
~~~~~
Take away lunch for 2.
Hubby and I love to eat roast duck. There was no queue when I approached the stall selling economy rice or chap fun. I thought there was no more roast duck so I ask the young lady. She replied, "How many to you want?" I uttered, "Huh! How many?" And we both burst out laughing.
Our packet of economy rice consisted of 1 portion white rice, roast duck breast meat, pumpkin and vegetable acar. Economy rice is popular because we can choose and pick the different varieties of dishes for a reasonable price.
~~~~~
Aglaonema (Pink Lady) plants from my garden.
This is a propagated plant from the mother plant and the colour of the leaves are still in the lighter shade.
This is the mother plant and the colour of the leaves are in darker shade. Both are placed under semi shade.
For if my father and mother should abandon me,
you would welcome and comfort me.
(Psalm 27:10, The Living Bible-TLB)
This looks like the exact same plant that I have! Chinese Evergreen.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny.
DeleteOooo...roast duck! I'd like that...and the pumpkin too!!! Yumssss!!!
ReplyDeleteYes, I like them too.
DeleteNice morning walk. It´s too cold for that here now (for my liking).
ReplyDeleteI once tried duck here. It was plain awful, reckon they did it wrong. My Mum used to make the most yummiest goose for Christmas, oh, I miss that!
Beautiful plant!
Thank you, Iris. Our weather here is much cooler now but it is still nice for morning walk.
DeleteBeautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jim.
DeleteThe dish looks super delicious and I love your Pink Lady!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Riitta.
DeleteYour economy rest sounds good, very good! Your photos are beautiful as always. The pink lady plants here are kept inside, otherwise it's too cold for them! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThank you, Valerie. Hugs. Have a good day.
DeleteIt is unique and special to have a choice of roast duck in chap fan stall, in sg we seldom have that. Roast duck are usually sold in stalls together with char siew, roast meat and chicken. I love to eat pumpkin a lot, soft and tasty. Lovely plants and lovely sky shots. Washing machine spinning helps dry the clothes faster. There is a shelter where we air and dry our clothes so we do not have to worry if it rains.
ReplyDeleteThis place sells a combination of roast meat and chap fun and we can have mixed order and they will charge accordingly.
DeleteI see. By the way, drying your clothes under the sun also has its advantage, it will dry much faster, but you need to be at home to watch out for the rain, drying indoor or under shelter takes longer time to dry.
DeleteTrue. If I need to go out for a longer time, I will push my clothes hanger under the porch if I think it will rain later.
DeleteGood post my dear
ReplyDeleteThank you, Aleksandra.
DeleteAglaonema looks so beautiful! I love me some roasted duck :-)
