This was last Tuesday. The weather is getting warmer with less rain.
Sunrise at 7:10am
This is the time for spring cleaning before the Lunar New Year which falls on the 1st February.
The hot sunny days are great for sunning pillows and cushion covers and also for drying washed curtains.

We were out in Ipoh to run some errands and by the time we finished it was time for lunch. We drove to Restoran Kah Heng for rice porridge.
I ordered rice porridge with century egg, pig stomach and minced pork.
Hubby ordered porridge with deep fried pig intestine and other innards.
We also ordered deep fried fresh water fish to share.
Crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside.
I can't remember the exact cost of our lunch but if I am not mistaken it is somewhere between RM13 to RM15.
Our orders were special and not listed under this general menu.
God stands up to open heaven's court.
He pronounces judgment on the judges.
How long will you judges refuse to listen to the evidence?
How long will you shower special favors on the wicked?
Give fair judgment to the poor man, the afflicted,
the fatherless, the destitute.
Rescue the poor and helpless from the grasp of evil men.
(Psalm 82:1-4, The Living Bible-TLB)
A beautiful start (still dark here).
ReplyDeleteI think it´s like with Vegemite: You grow up with it or you never can eat it - innards I could not (nor Vegemite and I tried more than once!).
Juicy and tender, are you kidding me? LOL!!!
Yah, well. I would be lost with your menu card. I could only enjoy the "paintings"...
Oh, my English! Ha ha ha...I just juicy and tender because I don't know else to describe the crispy fried fish.
DeleteBeautiful early morning views. Glad you enjoyed your meals. Have a great day, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThank you, Valerie.
DeleteI would love one with extra century eggs, please!
ReplyDeleteI would love to add salted egg but there is none.
DeleteI love porridge with fried fish, usually I buy bawal hitam/black pomfret, stronger and nicer fragrance and taste than the expensive white ones. I love century eggs too.
ReplyDeleteI like fried bawal hitam too. I usually coat it with turmeric or curry powder before frying.
Deletegood combination with deep fried fish.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nux.
Delete...the fish looks good to me.

DeleteIt has been wet and rainy week this week!! What a way to start the school. Lol. But glad the weather is much better today. No rain but cloudy and cold. A bowl of porridge sounds good. My kids don't fancy porridge so I seldom cook at home.
ReplyDeleteNo rain for almost a week. This is the best time for spring cleaning washing.
DeleteLos crujientes se ven muy ricos. Te mando un beso
ReplyDeleteThank you, JP.
DeleteThe Pork Porridge With Crispy Fried Fish must be super tasty, especially the fried fish fillets without bones. If these items are not listed in the menu, how did you know that they are available to be ordered?
ReplyDeleteSomone recommended to us.
