Steamed Tilapia With Salted Radish & Steamed Pork With Salted Fish

This was last Tuesday. We started out a bit later than usual for our morning walk.

Sunrise at 7:05am.
This beautiful sunrise greeted us when we walked out through the gate.
Sunrise at 7:08am.
Sunrise at 7:17am.
Sunrise at 7:21am.

Lunch.
This lunch was brought back to Ipoh all the way from Penang.
Thanks to our dear friend who "tapau" 2 packets of Penang Hokkien Mee for hubby and I.
I used Google Lens to search for the above plant's identity and found that it is called Iresine lindenii Formosa. It propagate easily through cuttings.

Dinner with our friend at Restoran WSF 33. Taman Hoover, Ipoh.
We ordered blanched Green Amaranth.
Steamed Red Tilapian topped with salted radish. It would have tasted better with some bird's eye chilies added.
Steamed minced pork with salted fish.
Satisfying and enjoyable dinner for 3 people.

For the Lord says, "Because he loves me, I will rescue him;
I will make him great because he trusts in my name.
When he calls on me, I will answer;
I will be with him in trouble and rescue him and honor him.
I will satisfy him with a full life and give him my salvation."
(Psalm 91:14-16, The Living Bible-TLB)

  3. I feel hungry just looking at your steamed minced pork with salted fish, looks so good! My missus likes using pork belly - I'm not into all that fat so much, not in this dish.
