This was a Sunday evening. There is a new place in Ipoh Garden that many has been talking about and has been receiving mostly good reviews. The only drawback is the waiting time. Someone suggested that we should go and check out this new place. We reached the place at about 6:35pm.
Just as expected, the place was full. Since there were only 4 of us, we didn't have to wait long for a table.
We were given a table right in front of the entrance. We gladly took our seats and we were told that the waiting time for the food will take quite awhile.
We didn't mind the wait as our tummies were not growling with hunger yet. Lol!
The first dish to arrive at our table: Crunchy fried small fishes dipped in batter with Thai chili sauce as dipping sauce. This will keep us occupied while waiting for the next dish.
We enjoyed munching on the above. Some were crunchy while some were not quite crunchy. Probably needed more frying.
Flat rice noodle & crispy fried rice vermicelli in egg gravy (wat tan).
If I am not mistaken, this is Claypot Sang Mee.
It tasted more or less like the wat tan noodle above.
And the last was this fried rice vermicelli.
We ordered small portion for all the noodles. Somehow, the 4 of us managed to finish what we ordered. I don't have the receipt so I am not able to share the price of the food.
Haven't you yet learned that your body is the home
of the Holy Spirit God gave you, and that he lives within you?
Your own body does not belong to you.
For God has bought you with a great price.
So use every part of your body to give glory back to God
because he owns it.

Thank you Nancy for letting us know about this new popular eatery. 3 Fried Noodles and 1 snack for 4 pax sounds good for Dinner. Let's hope this Restoran Wai Wai Ipoh will be around for a long time. Other than noodles, does this eatery sell main dishes to be eaten with rice?
ReplyDeleteSorry Mun, I am not sure about the dishes to be eaten with rice. This time I wasn't paying much attention to the menu because I left the ordering to my friend.
DeleteSo many noodle dishes! I would love that! Sometimes I feel so tired of eating rice and would ask for noodles instead.

ReplyDeleteSome places take bookings but some places it for first come, first serve.
