We had friends visiting us and we took them over to the nearby GP food court for lunch. We ordered lunch from the Indian stall.
Hubby and I shared this plate of rice.
1 portion of rice, prawn sambal, 2 fried chicken drumsticks and cabbage.
Our friends shared this plate of rice.
1 portion of rice, 1 piece chicken thigh, omelette, cabbage and a type of gourd.
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner for 2 people.
"Masak lemak" Prawn + Pineapple curry (less spicy with coconut milk)
Very delicious and appetizing dish.
Plain blanched green veggie (choy fah) with pieces of deep fried lard.
7:35pm - Evening sky
Pink hibiscus planted in front of a neighbour's house.
Who may climb the mountain of the Lord and enter where he lives?
Who may stand before the Lord? Only those with pure hands and hearts,
who do not practice dishonesty and lying.
They will receive God's own goodness as their blessing from him,
planted in their lives by God himself, their Savior.
(Psalm 24:3-5, The Living Bible-TLB)
  8. It is very nice to take your morning walk. The evening photo of the sky is very dramatic. I hope it was a gentle rain not a rough one with wind and hail. Hibiscus is quite beautiful. I enjoy pineapple very much but will need to try it with curry sometime. My husband is allergic to pineapple so I don't prepare that as a meal. Usually order sweet and sour meals when I'm out at a restaurant. Sharing a meal with friends is fun!
  13. Thank you Nancy for sharing about your lunch. I like eating Indian cuisine because all the spices taste good and give a good variety. Your home cooked Prawn with Pineapple Curry is one of my favourite dish although I haven't tasted it but I think it taste delicious from the looks of it. Did you deep fry the lard yourself for the vegetables dish?
    1. Thank you, Mun. I bought a strip of pork belly. I cut out the fat part and used it to fry the lard. Mun, I couldn't comment on your post today. I couldn't get the comment space to comment.
