Growing Nai Pak Choy In My Garden

I read in the news that we can see the  'Blood moon' Lunar Eclipse on the 8th November from 4:02pm to 9:56pm. When the time came, I didn't go out to check because it was raining and it was still raining when I went to bed.

6:45am
I didn't expect to see this bright big moon the next morning when we started out on our morning walk. The sky was clear and the moon was near to earth.
I only have my handphone camera but am glad to be able to capture these shots.
These are the best I can get with my handphone camera.
Breakfast before walking home.
Shredded chicken noodle (kai si hor fun) and coffee.
The cut chili padi gives it extra oomph.
Growing Nai Pak Choy in my garden.
I just sowed the seeds and let them grow on their own. I should have replanted to allow space for them to grow well but I was lazy.
Too much water from the rainfall is not good for green leafy vegetables, so I harvested the nai pak choy before they get spoiled and blanched them for dinner.
2nd portion of melt in the mouth bbq pork (char siew) with blanched nai pak choy. Placed both in 1 plate to avoid washing extra plate. Lol!
Our simple dinner with steamed brown rice.
My Ixora plant is blooming after being shifted to a place with full sunlight.

Linking to Skywatch Friday.

Whatever is good and perfect
is a gift coming down to us from God our Father,
who created all the lights in the heavens.
He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

  6. Yes, it was raining here too that night. Now that's a nice combination - the char siew and the bak choy in a plate, a balanced meal in itself.

  17. If I did not read your post and just looked at the photos, I would have thought the plate of pork and nai pak choy was from a tai chow place. LOL!

  18. Thank you Nancy. Good to Grow Nai Pak Choy In My Garden. I love to eat nai pak. Putting them together with the pork is a great environmentally friendly move. Can save water. No need wash two plates, just wash one. Will you try planting vegetables in water if u r lack of places in your garden? Hydroponic system planting

  19. Ixora flower is a beautiful color and looks so healthy. Does it require shade or sunny spot to grow? Food looks delicious. Rain spoiled your fun but lovely captures anyway.

  20. Great skies including the moon. You did great with your phone camera.
Wonderful food you make. You are a true foodie as they say here.
The verse is one of my favorites. "Everything good and perfect...." pretty much sums it all up. So I give God credit for all art, and the wonders of nature and everything else good and perfect.
