A Surprise Gift From An Unknown Person

Glad that we could go for our walking exercise on this particular morning. We have been skipping morning walk because it has been raining or drizzling most mornings.

I am sharing this morning sky from June, 2022.
These days, most of the morning sky are gloomy.
Garlic vine flowers by the roadside on our morning walk.
~~~~~
We had breakfast at Restoran Double Three, Menglembu new township.
Hubby ordered dry curry noodle with 2 fried dumplings and...
3 pieces of fried fish cakes in clear soup.
I ordered toast with butter and kaya.
Breakfast for 2 people.
~~~~~
Later in the morning, I received a call from an unlisted caller. It was from a florist making a delivery and was waiting outside our house. Hubby went out to attend to the person.
A few minutes later, hubby came into the house with the above. We checked the card and instead of a name, it was written as "Guess ???". Who could it be? It took a while for hubby to guess. The sender is a friend who has settled down overseas and wanted to spring a surprise on us. Thank you, friend for your lovely gift.
~~~~~
We had a lunch appointment with a friend who was back from Kuala Lumpur for a 2 weeks holidays. We went to a food court near her house.
I ordered a pot of briyani rice to share with hubby.
~~~~~
After a heavy lunch, we only wanted something light for dinner.
Hubby and I shared this big plate of blanched beansprouts with scrambled eggs, drizzled with garlic oil, oyster and soy sauce.

Linking to Skywatch Friday.

And I pray that as you share your faith with others
it will grip their lives too,
as they see the wealth of good things in you
that come from Christ Jesus.

  2. Wahhhh!!! So nice of your friend to send the bouquet!!! I wouldn't mind this kind of surprises! I just found out - our curry mee here is over RM20.00 a bowl. At that price, I would rather not eat, never mind how nice it looks or how good people say it is. I am not all that fond of anything spicy in the early morning , anyway.
