This is a continuation of our 2D1N holiday in Penang. On the first evening in Penang, we cross the road from the hotel to check out the art exhibition at Hin Bus Depot.
Art Exhibition by Ryan Naga.
Art Exhibition from 3 Dec - 31 Dec, 2022.
Black and white art on display.
It was dinner time so we didn't have the time to really inspect every painting.
Display in a glass cabinet.
Sculpture of a buffalo.
The above is supposed to be a chair.
This is the seat of the chair. The points are not sharp.
Mural #1 - A tiger wounded with arrows.
Mural #2 - Looks like a turtle.
Opens for public viewing:
Mon - Fri: 12pm - 7pm, Sat - Sun: 11am - 7pm.
We left this place while it was still drizzling.
We had 2 umbrellas which we borrowed from the hotel.
Linking to Monday Mural.
Oh, how great is your goodness to those
who publicly declare that you will rescue them.
For you have stored up great blessings
for those who trust and reverence you.
(Psalm 31:19, The Living Bible-TLB)
This is really interesting modern art.

ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi. Yes, it doesn't look comfortable at all.
DeleteI came to see the mural and got treated to a plethora of incredible art. I really LOVE these. That chair is a bit too edgy for me though!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elizabeth. To me it looks like a torture chair. Lol.
DeleteObviously a talented artist. Looks like the work is meant to send a message rather than being pleasing to the eyes.
