Finished 5th Chemo Treatment

Hello, I am back again. I have finished the 5th chemo treatment and was discharged from the hospital on the 24th morning. The night before I was discharged, I strained my back muscles and it was really painful. Now, after applying some counter pain gel, I am feeling much better now but have to adjust my back while in standing and walking position. My next pre-chemo blood test will be on the 4th July and admit to hospital for the 6th chemo treatment on the 5th July.

Lyrics

My worth is not in what I own
Not in the strength of flesh and bone
But in the costly wounds of love at the cross

My worth is not in skill or name
In win or lose, in pride or shame
But in the blood of Christ that flowed at the cross

I rejoice in my Redeemer
Greatest treasure, wellspring of my soul
And I will trust in Him, no other
My soul is satisfied in Him alone

As summer flowers we fade and die
Fame, youth and beauty hurry by
But life eternal calls to us at the cross

I will not boast in wealth or might
Or human wisdom's fleeting light
But I will boast in knowing Christ at the cross

I rejoice in my Redeemer
Greatest treasure, wellspring of my soul
I will trust in Him, no other
My soul is satisfied in Him alone

Two wonders here that I confess
My worth and my unworthiness
My value fixed, my ransom paid at the cross

And I rejoice in my Redeemer
Greatest treasure, wellspring of my soul
I will trust in Him, no other
My soul is satisfied in Him alone

Preparing For 5th Chemo Treatment

It is Monday again. Wishing everyone a happy new week. Yesterday (Sunday), we celebrated Father's Day. Happy Father's Day to all fathers.

I was awake and I wanted to walk out to check if there was any sunrise for me to snap photos.

Below are some of my surviving plants in my garden after I delegated the garden to my hubby.
Croton: yellow and green coloured leaves croton.
Aglaonema pink lady: placed in semi shade.
Coleus, placed in semi shade.
Bauhinia Kockiana.
This cat has been a nuisance to the neighbourhood. It climbs and left footprints on our car, scratch the seat of hubby's motorcycle and poo in our garden.

Fathers, do not exasperate your children;
instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.

Our Bauhinia Kockiana And Orchid Are Blooming

I was discharged from the hospital on Friday morning after I have finished the chemo treatment. Now I am resting at home before the next chemo which is scheduled on the 21st June, 2023. A day before that, I will need to get a pre-chemo blood test done at the hospital. So far so good, I am doing fine with good appetite and sleeping well.

Sunrise on the 7:35am.
These days the weather is hot and dry. Even if it rains, it is usually a short shower. Sometimes, we hear thunder rumbling but there is no rain.
With some fertilizer and regular watering in this hot weather, our bauhinia kockiana is doing very well and blooming away happily.
This orchid was neglected but surprisingly, one morning it bloomed! Hubby has been rather busy trying to clear and keep the garden tidy but there are some plants he missed watering and yet these hardy plants survived.
The above dog is a stray but well fed by the residents here.
The above mural of a man at the lotus pond and a plastic bag of drink hanging on the wall was shot at a school in Tanjung Tualang.

The Spirit and the bride say,
'Come.' Let each one who hears them say the same,
'Come." Let the thirsty one come - anyone who wants to;
let him come and drink the Water of Life without charge.

Preparing For 4th Chemo

After returning from the 3th chemo treatment, I was feeling good for the first two days. On the third day onwards, probably due to the hot and dry weather, I started to feel easily tired. I can't sit up for long and I prefer to lay down on bed. Usually, I will be watching some drama on my tablet, mobile or doze off to sleep.

Then after the days of laying on bed, I begin to feel more energetic till today when I can sit up longer to prepare this post. This morning I went to the hospital for the pre chemo blood test. Tomorrow morning, I will be admitted to the hospital for the chemo treatment. While I was still at the hospital, hubby went up to the 2nd floor when I will be admitted to try to book a place in the 2 bedded room. The nurse told him that they have already booked the room for me. After that, we went home.

Sunrise at 6:40am on the 28th May, a week after my chemo treatment.
Sunrise at 7:15am on the same day as above.

 Only can see 1 Egret.
This Egret must be looking for food.
Bauhinia Kockania in front of my house.
It loves hot weather and is now blooming happily.
Found this mural of geese on the wall of a school in Tanjung Tualang.

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me;
He has appointed me to preach Good News to the poor;
He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted and
to announce that captives shall be released
and the blind shall see,
that the downtrodden shall be freed from their oppressors,
and that God is ready to give blessings to all who come to him".
