A Short Visit To Temple Street Night Market, Hong Kong

Hong Kong, Day 3 - Temple Street night market.

Upon returning from Macau, we made our way to Temple Street. We had a dinner appointment near Temple Street. We were early and to spend the time, we took a walk to enjoy the night market.
The gateway or archway to Temple Street.

Noticed the clean street.
The street closed to traffic and was crowded with visitors.
Popular eatery - fully packed to the brim.

All shops fully lighted up.

Eateries enjoying good business.

Aha! I saw my favourite fruit - Durians!!!

There were many brightly lit stalls selling all kinds of things. I took some photos but they didn't turn out well.

We did not try any of the food here because we were keeping out tummies for our scrumptious dinner.

On our way back, we noticed that this place was still packed with customers.

    1. Hi Eileen, durians are thorny fruits and they have a very strong odor. Durian lovers love the strong odor but others find it too strong for their liking.

  8. I would have loved to roam around this market. You're right. I've noticed how clean everything is. No trash just discarded. I wish folks here were as good about keeping things clean as they are where you are. Amazing.

Have a fabulous day Nancy. ☺

  13. What neat shots of this market all lit up at night. Looks very festive and I can see they have roped fencing to keep people in proper lines. The Spicy Crab place sounds yummy.

  18. It looks as busy at night as in day time and I imagine it's cooler at night. I've seen durian fruits but have never tasted them. There are many different species and they are very costly.

I love the entrance arch to Temple Street. Very remarkable. thanks for the photos. It's like a visit to a place I'll probably never visit and I appreciate it very much. Thanks you Nancy.
