Hong Kong, Day 1 - Sai Kung Hoi Pong Square
Before I post about our dinner, I will share some photos that I have taken in Sai Kung Hoi Pong Square. It was still early and we had some time to look around and took some photos while waiting for the rest of our groups to join us.
On one side is the busy harbour will all types and sizes of boats.
Feasting our eyes on these beautiful scenery.
It was so wonderful to stand there, to feel the ocean breeze and smell the scent of sea water in the cool evening.
We were either standing or strolling along the pathway. Some were having their photos taken and I snapped this photo as he whizzed past me.

On the other side, there are seafood restaurants displaying all types of fresh unique seafood. Introducing to you some of the unique seafood we will be eating for our dinner.

I have never seen such an abundance of fresh unique seafood before!

Gosh! I love seafood. Could not wait to see what you have for dinner.

ReplyDeleteGosia, I love seafood. But I do know of people who could not take seafood due to allergy and I have also heard of seafood poisoning too.

seems to me, H.K still looks the same as it was years ago,
btw, have you also visited the Cheung Chau area?
a nice island as well.
anyways, everything looks fresh here and would love to try the snails perhaps, but my ultimate fave would be those scallops. ^0^

I am glad I visited Hong Kong, it was a wonderful experience getting to see Hong Kong and tasting all those yummy food. I do not think we visited Cheung Chau area. We were there only 5D 4N, there's plenty yet to visit.
DeleteI don't think I have seen so much seafood all in one place, apart from at a market perhaps. It all looks wonderful, I think I would have opted for the scallops or prawns.

Paul, I love seafood too but only tasted the common ones. Most of these we do not usually eat at home. The seafood dinner post will be coming next.

DeleteNice scenery. That's a lot of seafood & some of which I never see. I like razor clams cook with curry powder.
