Last Monday, we met up with friends for breakfast at Restoran First Kwong Chow in Taman Pertama.
After breakfast, a friend had to leave her car at the service centre and we are to pick her from the service centre.
A friend ordered this yellow turmeric glutinous rice and
it comes with this bowl of chicken curry.
Hubby bought these Chinese crullers, I love to eat them with black coffee. I forgot to take photos of the rest of our orders because I was busy chatting with my friends.
Barrier Gate or Boom Gate and fencing at the car service centre.
Hubby likes this fencing at the service centre and he is thinking of replacing our old fence.
Today I am linking with Good Fences and here are some fences I have found around town.
Once again we get to enjoy clear blue sky.
This straight road was free from traffic in the early morning.
Linking to Good Fences.
Listen! I hear the voice of someone shouting,
"Make a road for the Lord through the wilderness;
make him a straight, smooth road through the desert.
(Isaiah 40:3, TLB)
The chicken and the rice look delicious! I think the curry would be too hot and spicy for me, but I do love chicken. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda. The curry to our local taste buds is not too hot but may be hot for others. Have a blessed day!
DeleteNancy, I like the Chinese crullers. When we go for BKT, they also give us a serving to dip with the gravy.

Their roast meat is still the best in town. This yellow rice and chicken curry is only for the morning and closes by the time the roast meat starts their business.

ReplyDeleteHave a great day my friend. See ya.
Cruisin Paul
Thank you, Paul. Its glutinous rice, soaked in yellow ginger (turmeric) powder to get the yellow colour and steamed with coconut milk. A great day to you too!
DeleteAll the food you post looks so good. Always. I'm hungry now.
ReplyDeleteLove all the fences, but I really loved the clear blue sky. I'm glad you finally have good air to breathe.

Thank you, Sandee. Finally, our hazy days are over. Now we are having rainy days. Have a fabulous day too!
DeleteThe fencing in the service centre is a new type of fencing just that I find it has not privacy, see through all type.
ReplyDeleteHello Agnes, we were thinking of using this see through fence to replace our old chain link fencing which is also see through. Its only for the side between our friendly neighbour where we can chat through the fence. Have a lovely day!
DeleteI like to eat glutinous rice. Can never get tired of them but also cannot eat a lot because they are very filling.
ReplyDeleteMun, the same with me too. I can eat them almost every day but now have to control and cut down the intake. Have a beautiful day!
DeleteI think I would love the turmeric rice and the curried chicken without the fatty skin. I love the taste of spicy food.
ReplyDeleteGreat sturdy fences.
Hugs,
JB
Julia, I will always remove the fatty skin whenever I eat chicken. I too love spicy food. Have a blessed day!

ReplyDeleteYes, they are the same type of crullers. Best eaten with hot black coffee and bak kut teh! Have a great day!
DeleteHey, Nancy, I was thinking of changing my fencing to the one above. There are 2 colours, black & silver and I understand we don't need to paint & it won't get rusty, how true? I love the cullers too.
ReplyDeleteIrene, you mean the fence at the service centre? We were told that it won't get rusty. The grille man will be coming soon to have it fix at our house. Have a happy day!
DeleteYes, the service centre one. Oh, you were told it won't get rusty too.
DeleteYes, the man told us it won't. I hope its the truth.

Deleteseems like living in a modern world means "fenced in "
ReplyDelete:)
In present time, we need to be fenced in to have the security. Not like in former days where our houses have no fence and our doors were not locked. Have a happy weekend!
DeleteThat rice dish looks scrumptious, Nancy.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the new fencing!
