This morning as usual we woke up at 5.45 am and by 6.15 am we were at the recreation park having our walking exercise around the lake. Most of the days we will walk 4 rounds and then we will drive off for our breakfast. This morning we went to Canning Garden because we have 2 errands to run.
We witnessed this beautiful sunrise at about 7.20 am on our way to Canning Garden.
Isn't it amazing to get these different sunrise shots within a few minutes?
We both shared a bowl of healthy curry noodles (without coconut milk or santan).
And we each took a steamed coconut bun. A non-sweetened coffee for me.
This is our favourite steamed coconut bun - home made bun.
The coconut filling is moist and we love the texture of the bun.
At one time, my hubby wanted to plant this bamboo tree in front of our house.
Good thing he didn't because it can easily get out of control.
On our way home after breakfast.
Looking forward to tend to my garden and water my plants.

ReplyDeleteNancy, you are so blessed with a wonderful life with your hubby :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Phong Hong. Yes, I am blessed and I am very grateful for God's blessing upon us. Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteLovely morning shots, Nancy. Love them.
ReplyDeleteI would wish to go for a morning walk but I guess that would only achieve when all kids are growing bigger. The youngest one tends to tired out and want me to carry him. I would break my back if carrying him for too long. Lol.
Have a great weekend my dear.
Thank you, Rose. Be patient, dear. We only started our morning walk after I retired from my work. When my kids were younger, we did go for morning walk once a week, i.e. on Saturday morning or evening. Have a great weekend too!
DeleteBeautiful shots of the sunrise. I assume you weren't the driver. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stacy. Ha ha don't worry, my hubby was the driver so I am free to take all these snapshots.

DeleteI love the curry noodles here but have yet to try the steamed buns..I heard they serve good pumpkin buns.
ReplyDeleteThe steamed buns are very tasty, same for the pumpkin buns too but you will have to go early.
DeleteThe steam bun looks amazing, a real delight. An amazing sunrise.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mamas. Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteWow, you and your husband are so diligent to wake up so early to exercise. Since the sun is not up yet, does the recreation park has enough lamps to brighten the park up?
ReplyDeleteHi Mun, there are people as early as 5.30 am but we prefer to go around 6.15 to 6.30 am where there will be more people walking and some roadside stall doing business there. Most parts of the park are lighted up.
DeleteEnjoy your weekend ya...
ReplyDeleteThank you, Sharon. Enjoy your weekend too!
Deletesome bamboo will take over the place
ReplyDeleteHi Tom, the bamboo is already covering up half of the front of the shop.
DeleteI like the morning fresh air. Usually I go jogging as early as 5am at the park near to my house with my neighbours. Hot coffee & coconut bun for me, pls.
ReplyDeleteWow! Irene, 5 am is too early for us here. We tried walking 5.30 am but the park was too dark and quiet and we didn't feel safe. Over here 6 am is just nice with more people around.
DeleteI love coconut but I don't think it's part of very many morning meals here. I'm not sure why--it's sweet and perfect for breakfast, now that I think about it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stephanie. Have a lovely weekend!
DeleteYou get up very early for a retiree. I don't think I would get up that early if I was retired.
ReplyDeleteThat steam bun looks like a dumpling. I bet it taste good but not sure I would want it for breakfast.
Have a great day.
Hugs,
JB
Hi Julia, actually I am quite lazy to get up early but I have to discipline myself for my exercise. In the morning it is cool, if we walk in the evening, it is very humid and hot.
DeleteLovely sunrise! Early mornings are best :)
