My Breakfasts & Snacks

Ipoh has a wide selection of delicious food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and snacks. The following are just some of the food that I like.

1st morning:
Barley gingko sweet drink for hubby. Bo bo cha cha (sweet potato, taro, black eye beans, coconut milk, etc.) for me.
Hakka noodles, meat balls & fried bean curds, etc. for 2 people

2nd morning
One Sunday morning we decided to have Dosai (Indian bread) for breakfast.
Crispy thin Dosai with 3 different types of spicy dippings & iced tea.

3rd morning
Curry noodles (non creamy with less coconut milk), soup version with pig's skin, long beans, and cabbage.
4 pieces of Siew mai
This was a light breakfast - for 2 people.

Home made snacks.
One afternoon, I decided to make some spring roll snacks.
The above are all wrapped up, ready for frying.
I did shallow frying
Crispy and addictive snack.
I love these Jelly Mooncakes
We received these mooncake gift from our neighbours.
First round, hubby and I had a quarter of each mooncake.
2nd round, we finished off all the mooncakes.
I love to munch on these Pepper Cookies.
Bought 2 types from Penang.

The following pictures are for joining Saturday's Critters.
A sleepy guard dog blocking the stairway.
I found this caterpillar feasting on my periwinkle leaves.

Have A Wonderful Weekend!

So let us feast upon him and grow strong in the Christian life,
leaving entirely behind us the cancerous old life
with all its hatreds and wickedness.
Let us feast instead upon the pure bread of honor
and sincerity and truth.

  1. Variety is the best. I love bubur cha cha but long time didn't have that. Your spring rolls snack, I could have many of them but can't for now as still recovering from cough.

Weekend! I hate caterpillar feasting in my garden.Lol.

  7. I like all the food in this post. The caterpillar looks so menacing but it is all a camouflage to protect it from its predators.
