Meatballs & Brazilian Spinach For Dinner

These days we usually start our morning walk at about 6:15am or later if we overslept. Sometimes we get to see the moon, sometimes there was no moon to be seen. We are thankful for the street lights that lighted up the streets for us.

The following photos were from my garden, taken when I was watering my plants.
Eggplant flower.
(I can't remember the colour or type of eggplant).
Fully opened eggplant flower.
Hoping these flowers will turn into eggplants.

Home cooked dinner.
There was a packet of ready cooked frozen meatballs in the freezer which hubby bought in support of his friend's business.
These were big meatballs! There were 5 meatballs in the packet.
Blanched home grown Brazilian spinach and topped with leftover salted egg yolk from the previous day's dinner. We finished the mantis prawns but couldn't finished the leftover salted egg yolk, etc. because it was a bit salty for me.

  1. I really envy you for the vegetables that you grown and your bountiful harvest! That's what I want to do once I get the chance to retire. LOL!

    1. Before I retire, I grow non edibles. Once I retired, I start to grow edibles because I have more time for gardening. Non edibles can only see but edibles can harvest and eat. Lol!

  15. Love your vege dish for dinner. Are you keeping the leftover salted egg yolks for another meal? Would be very tasty to eat them with congee.

  20. The colours in the sky are lovely. I love eggplant, or aubergine as we call them in the UK. I have never tried growing them though.

  22. I love spinach but I find it goes to seed before I can ever pick it, I grow chard instead which grows all year round. Keep safe, Diane
