These days we usually start our morning walk at about 6:15am or later if we overslept. Sometimes we get to see the moon, sometimes there was no moon to be seen. We are thankful for the street lights that lighted up the streets for us.
Lovely sunrise at 7:20am.
Morning sky (reflection of the sunrise) at 7:27am.

The following photos were from my garden, taken when I was watering my plants.
Eggplant flower.
(I can't remember the colour or type of eggplant).
Fully opened eggplant flower.
Hoping these flowers will turn into eggplants.

Home cooked dinner.
There was a packet of ready cooked frozen meatballs in the freezer which hubby bought in support of his friend's business.
These were big meatballs! There were 5 meatballs in the packet.
Blanched home grown Brazilian spinach and topped with leftover salted egg yolk from the previous day's dinner. We finished the mantis prawns but couldn't finished the leftover salted egg yolk, etc. because it was a bit salty for me.
Linking to Wordless Wednesday & My Corner of the World.
"Salt is good for seasoning.
But if it loses its flavor, how do you make it salty again?
Flavorless salt is good neither for the soil nor for the manure pile.
It is thrown away.
Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand!"

I really envy you for the vegetables that you grown and your bountiful harvest! That's what I want to do once I get the chance to retire. LOL!
ReplyDeleteBefore I retire, I grow non edibles. Once I retired, I start to grow edibles because I have more time for gardening. Non edibles can only see but edibles can harvest and eat. Lol!
DeleteI like your plate of greens.. very nice with chili, salted egg and garlic!
ReplyDeleteVery tasty combination.
DeleteThe morning sky looks good. I always make my meatballs from scratch.
ReplyDeleteThe flower looks nice as will bring food...
I usually make my own meatballs from scratch but this is an exception.
DeleteLove those succulent and juicy meatballs. Does Brazilian spinach taste very different from the regular spinach?
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, the taste is quite different from the regular spinach.
DeleteThe blossom is beautiful. As is the sky.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Rose.
DeleteBelas fotografias e pratos deliciosos.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.

ReplyDeleteThank God for His angels that protect us.
DeleteMy meatballs are smaller and I put them in spaghetti sauce. Have a great day Nancy.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
I usually make my meatball much smaller than these.
Delete...I still have to start my egg plant seeds.
ReplyDeleteThe rain is back and I have start to sow some seeds too.
DeleteOh the food always looks so good. I'm hungry now.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Nancy. ♥

ReplyDeleteI don't know because I have not thought of eating the flowers.

ReplyDeleteI like eggplants very much, but I have never seen their flowers. Delicious dishes. Have a nice evening:)

DeleteDear friend! According to our (human) bilogical clock; 06:00 am is a very very beneficial time for the wake-up. Bye the way juicy meatballs dish looks delicious. Thank you for article and sharing. Happy day.
ReplyDeleteThank you and have a happy day.
DeleteLove your vege dish for dinner. Are you keeping the leftover salted egg yolks for another meal? Would be very tasty to eat them with congee.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mun. I use the leftover salted egg yolk as topping for the blanched veggie for the next day's dinner.
DeleteMay the flower turn into brinjals. 🤞Do you need to wrap the brinjals to prevent birds from eating them?
ReplyDeleteI didn't wrap the brinjals. So far the birds leave the brinjals alone.
DeleteEl amanecer se ve bonito. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
DeleteGood way to repurpose the salted egg yolk topping.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stacy.
DeleteInteresting and different
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jo-Anne.
DeleteLovely skies! Homegrown spinach sounds good.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda.
DeleteVery nice egg plant flowers
ReplyDeleteThank you, Catherine.
DeleteThe colours in the sky are lovely. I love eggplant, or aubergine as we call them in the UK. I have never tried growing them though.
ReplyDeleteThey are easy to grow but they do attract pests.
DeleteNice makeup with brazilian spinach and cute shots on the eggplant flower.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jeevan.
DeleteI love spinach but I find it goes to seed before I can ever pick it, I grow chard instead which grows all year round. Keep safe, Diane
ReplyDeleteWe don't have chard here and I would love to try growing chard.
DeleteYou do take some amazing photos!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi.
DeleteFabulous sunrise photos! I find all flowers amazing to see, they are so detailed and intricate.
