Recently I came to know about this new Hakka Mee shop called Restoran Seong Kee Hakka Mee from a friend. This corner shop was formerly occupied by Restoran Kumpar.
It is located along Jalan Raja Permaisuri Bainun (formerly Jalan Kampar), and same row of shops as Restoran Yei Lock (Pau Hainam), Ipoh.
So one early morning, hubby and I came to this place for breakfast.
A simple menu for customers' reference was placed on the table
Altogether 11 items available.
This is for customers to tick their orders. That morning, a helper came to tick for us.
1 hot milo and 1 hot black coffee (both unsweetened).
2 fried meat balls and 3 pieces of fried beancurd items.
1 tofu and 2 meat balls.
2 plates of Hakka noodles with minced meat.
Now Ipoh has an additional Hakka noodle place added to the list.

Thank you, Francisco. Have a wonderful day!
DeleteIt is authentic Hakka noodle. Not many people selling this Hakka noodle with meat mince over here although Kuching is a Hakka majority city. It has been ages I had a bowl of this.
ReplyDeleteThen Ipoh is considered blessed because we have a few places selling Hakka noodles and we get to enjoy them regularly.

DeleteJust passed by Jln Kampar the other day and noticed this "new" shop. Wanted to try as I love Hakka mee. But we couldn't find a parking spot and ended up at Old Town Kopitiam M Boutique Hotel (ridiculously expensive!).
ReplyDeleteNot easy to find parking there so we usually go early in the morning. This morning I went to the Hakka mee, a few shops away from Pasir Puteh Restoran Mun Choong. There also full house by 8.10 am. That noodle also good!
DeleteLove that heart fence...and love the color of the sign in that first shot.
