I had the pre-chemo blood test done on Friday, 21st July and will be admitted to hospital for chemo treatment this morning (Monday, 24th July).
A friend took this shot with the rainbow on the way to Bercham, Ipoh.
Hubby went to join them for dinner while I was in hospital.
A version of Crown of Thorns without the thorns from my front garden.
This is how we queue up for the blood test using our belonging while waiting for the counter to open at 7am. The gold bag is mine. After placing my bag, I went to get a seat. I got #10.
We reached just before 6am and we managed to get a parking space just next to the blood lab which allows hubby to support me while I walked. Praise the Lord, my back pain is much lessen and more tolerable.
These are all waiting for the counter to open at 7am. They will only start to take the blood about 8am. So there is long wait of about 2 hours plus before we could go home.

The photos of the dog on the car are old photos taken in 2021 while I was still healthy and active with our morning walk.
Doggie on his owner's car keeping watch.
When he heard us passing by, he sat up on the car.
And watched us passed by, sometimes barking, sometimes he just keep quiet.

Mural of a beautiful lady.
Psalm 23, The Lord's my shepherd.
The Lord is my shepherd, I'll not want
He makes me lie in pastures green
He leads me by the still, still waters
His goodness restores my soul
Chorus:
And I will trust in You alone
And I will trust in You alone
For Your endless mercy follows me
Your goodness will lead me home
He guides my way in righteousness
And He anoints my head with oil
And my cup, it overflows with joy
I feast on His pure delight
(Chorus)
And though I walk the darkest path
I will fear the evil one
For You are with me, Your rod and staff
Are the comfort I need to know
(Chorus)
I think of you often and pray for you daily.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day and week, Nancy. Healing hugs. ♥

DeleteMy heart goes out to you. The mural is a work of art.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Roentare for your compassion.
DeleteOh my, you have such a long wait. That is not good, especially for people who are not well. Maybe they need to get more employees?
ReplyDeleteEvery where there is a long wait. too many patients to accomodate.
DeleteDeseo que sigas bien Nancy. Besos.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
DeleteGood luck with this round.
ReplyDeleteThank you, William.
DeleteI am glad you found a close place to park before your lab work was done. We usually get appointments and get it done on time here in Oregon. I am glad you were on time and hope all goes good for you in your chemo again. I enjoyed hearing this song and I like Sounds Like Reign music. I ordered two of their cds. Your in my prayers and I like you flowers!!!! God bless!==Becky
ReplyDeleteThank you, Becky for your prayers. God bless you too.
DeleteEven the private hospital here has long queues but they issue numbers which is easier. That means patients could wait anywhere.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon Nancy. 💕 💕
Nancy wrote that the counter to issue numbers is only opened at 7 am therefore they all placed their things in the queue to get the numbers because the time is not 7 am yet so government hospitals issue numbers too just like private hospitals.
DeleteThank you, TM. Yes, everywhere even private hospitals have to deal with lots of patients.
DeleteThank you, Mun. Everywhere is the same, patients are increasing.
Delete...Nancy, I hope that you are having the process that the doctors expect. Be well.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tom. I hope so too.
DeleteIt is the same as the polyclinic here. So your chemo is today. Hope all goes fine, God bless.
ReplyDeleteThank you, STP. God bless you too.
DeleteI hope all goes well for you, dear Nancy. That mural of that lady is so beautiful.

ReplyDeleteI'm inspired by your faith in God. It's clear that you have a deep trust in Him, and I know that He will be with you through this difficult time.
Thank you, Shiju. The pain comes and goes.

DeleteThe lovely rainbow is a symbol of hope that all went well for you this week, dear Nancy. The waiting alone must be draining and demanding. I hope there is even MORE improvement soon. That is a stunning a emotional mural.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elizabeth. I pray and hope so too.

ReplyDeleteHello Nancy,
ReplyDeleteI am praying for you, wishing you all the best. Love the beautiful rainbow.
The dog is cute sitting on top of the car. Love the pretty flowers and the lovely mural. Stay strong and take good care! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a great week! PS, thank you for leaving me a comment.
Hope you can soon resume your walks. Love the dog on top of the car, very cute. That is a long wait for blood tests, at least you could sit down while you wait. Very pretty lady, thanks for participating in Monday Murals Nancy.
ReplyDeleteHope your chemo treatment goes well today.
Nancy, I'm thinking about you all the time. My prays to God I hope will help. When I had my stroke, I had prayers from many people throughout Canada, the U.S and Italy. They helped a great deal and I hope my prayers will help.
ReplyDeleteCruisin Paul
Thank you, Paul for your prayers.
DeleteSo wonderful to capture that rainbow. Wow that is a long wait especially if you are not feeling well, praying all goes well today. Glad hubby could find a close parking space to help you get in better, good to hear your back is still doing better.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Connie.
DeleteSo nice to see many people praying for you, Nancy... I wish you the same too... pray that you will be back to your robust self soon and we will have more trips to go together once again!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Claire for your prayers too.
DeleteThat is one thing about government hospitals. Need to go early, fight for numbers and then the long wait. Definitely spend at least 2 hours there.
ReplyDeleteSo true.
DeleteSad to see that patients have to wake up early and wait for 2 hours just to have their blood taken for blood tests. The system should improve.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile we just have to bear with the current system.
DeleteI'm glad your back pain is less and pray everything is going well with your treatment.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi. The pain comes and goes.
DeleteAll prayer for your treatment...hopefully everything goes well...i like that handsome doggy above the car
ReplyDeleteThank you, MK for your prayers.
DeleteI hope this is going well for you. Best wishes on your journey back to health.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Linda for your well wishes.

ReplyDeleteWishing you all the best, 𝓝𝓪𝓷𝓬𝔂 ^^ 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you, dear for your well wishes.
DeleteStill praying for you!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Yogi. Appreciate your prayers for me.
DeleteIt looks like a bit of a production line, Nancy, with all those people lined up for blood tests, but I suppose all hospitals are like that these days. Good luck with your ongoing treatment. All the best - David
ReplyDeleteThank you, David. Everywhere it is the same. Too many patients to accomodate.
DeleteThat's an interesting queuing system, but at least you could sit down while you wait. That's a beautiful photo of the rainbow, and I'm sure it's a good sign.
