Early morning we took our friend's bro.N out for dim sun breakfast at Restoran Hong Kong Dim Sum BFB. Sis.S wanted to sleep late. Initially there were only 3 of us but later joined by 2 more friends.
Driving to the dim sum restaurant.
My favourite - deep fried century egg rolls. Lol! that's all the photos for the dim sum breakfast. I remembered we ordered BBQ pork pau, and etc. but no photos to show.
After breakfast we packed some dim sum for sis.S and sent bro.N home because he and his sister has some matters to look into. The rest of us went our separate ways to do our own thing. Some were already preparing the food for the night's dinner gathering. Nothing grand, just a small gathering with some home cooked food.
Yummy food all cooked by a very charming sister - thanking her for all the hard work in preparing and cooking these for us. From the left to right - deep fried "lam yee" chicken, fried vermicelli and some stuffed "liew".
Linking to Good Fences.
Oh, praise the Lord! for He has listened to my pleadings!
He is my strength, my shield from every danger.
I trusted in Him, and He helped me.
Joy rises in my heart until I burst out in songs of praise to Him.
The Lord protects His people and gives victory to His anointed king.
(Psalm 28:6-8, The Living Bible-TLB)

ReplyDelete~
Thank you for visiting. We had a great day and wishing you a great day too!
DeleteThat fence looks pretty neat. I'm guessing they plant stuff in it because it looked like there were some type of plants at the top of the fence. I can't imagine eating Dim Sum for breakfast, very different from what I eat for breakfast. The food looked pretty good (except for the chicken feet and the watermelon - I'm allergic to watermelon).
ReplyDeleteI do have friends who do not eat chicken fee and watermelon. I eat both but moderately.
DeleteWhat a feast! And so many happy faces! Are you in there, or taking the picture? The fence I don't like. It is more like a barrier and not too pretty.
ReplyDeleteMy face not in the photo, I am the photographer. I too do not like the fence.
DeleteEverything looks delicious! It's always a great time when having a wonderful company :) xx Maja

Deletecut melon for dessert great idea. But it is not popular in Poland
ReplyDeleteDo you have watermelon in Poland? We have plenty over here.
DeleteNothing is quite as good as home cooked food, Nancy! I like the fence, it looks like a bunch of pillars. :)
ReplyDeleteThe fence is made from clay pipes, used as sewerage pipes.
DeleteTime spent in the company of friends is always time well spent. I'd like the minced pork with prawn dumplings, please - they look absolutely yummy as does all the food here. You made me hungry.
