Last month I did a post on the dinner we had at Gopeng Antique Kopitiam for our dinner. If you are interested to see what we ate, you can click here. While we were waiting for our food to be served, I used the waiting time to look around and took snapshots of the many treasures displayed there.
One of the entrance to the kopitiam.
Tricycle old fashioned stall.
An art piece on the wooden wall.
An American native on the left, a rattan basket in the centre, a bell on the top right, a wood face mask and a bicycle leaning against the wall.
A replica of an old fashioned cooking stove.
A wooden structure surrounding a well.
The well used to be the only source of water for cooking, washing, etc.
Using an enamel basin as a wash basin with piped water.
A mini fish pond.
Old fashioned wooden window with tinted glass above.
An old rattan chair.
Kinta Omnibus company's time table sign that displayed the departure time of their buses.
Linking To Tuesday's Treasure & Image-in-ing.
He isn't really being slow about his promised return,
even though it sometimes seems that way.
But he is waiting, for the good reason that
he is not willing that any should perish,
and he is giving more time for sinners to repent.
(2 Peter 3:9, The Living Bible-TLB)
Interesting series of photos - thank you for joining us at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2016/09/orchids-other-worldly.html to share them.

DeleteA lot to look at, so you don't mind if your food takes too long. I love the stove, I have never seen an old one like this. And the basin is also another favorite. I love the pretty color and pattern. Does the water really run, so you can turn it in and wash? That would be fun!
ReplyDeleteIn fact, I was so taken up with taking photos that I forgot about the food. The basin was put to good use. There is running water from the tap for customers to wash their hands.
