Breakfast With Friends At Restoran Blue Sky, Ipoh.

One morning we met up with some friends. One of them saw a post on my blog about the curry noodles from Restoran Blue Sky and being a curry lover, she wanted to taste the curry noodle but she doesn't know the way. We were happy to lead the way to Restoran Blue Sky and that was how we all landed up having breakfast there. Restoran Blue Sky is at Jalan Mas 1, Falim, Ipoh.
Someone ordered this fried noodle (yee mee) soup in a clay pot. Ingredients in the noodles - fish cake slices, prawns, minced pork, fish paste balls. egg and veggie.
A bowl of curry noodle for the curry lover. She requested for only bbq pork, prawns & minced leaves.
She requested for extra curry paste.
My hubby's chicken curry noodle with cockles.
Stuffed tofu, fish balls and stuffed bitter gourd for sharing.
And this is my simple breakfast - roti canai or roti prata with curry gravy. I like roti canai but only eat this once in a while.
We like the unsweetened black coffee served here.

The day was very hot and humid. I can only think of cold dessert for lunch and we went to Diamond Cafe for some sweet and refreshing desserts.
I ordered fresh fruits cocktail.
Hubby ordered ice-blended red bean sweet drink (tong sui).
In the sweltering weather, these will be able to last us till dinner time.

Being happy-go-lucky around a person
whose heart is heavy is as bad as stealing his jacket in cold weather
or rubbing salt in his wounds.

  2. I used to love yee mee in claypot as a child but burnt my tongue so many times I gave up eating it. Lol. It has been ages since I had one. Time to rekindle my love for yee mee.

That fruit cocktail looked so pretty and delicious. I do not mind having one on this hot day.
