After the Dataran Lang visit, the van driver volunteered to take us to the stall selling fresh dried ikan bilis or anchovies. Unfortunately, we were late and found it closed for the day. So the van driver took us by another route back to the Star Cruises Jetty. And that was our short tour of Langkawi, looking out and taking snapshots from the van. The following photos were taken from the moving van.
The distance hills look like those found in water colour paintings.
We reached the jetty at about 7.10 pm.
We were welcome by some crew members, waiting with chilled wet towels and bottled drinking water to freshen us up before we board the ship.

After a few minutes rest, we adjourned to the Chinese restaurant for our dinner.
I only took picture of my salad and starter from the buffet style serving.
The 4 main courses - preliminary round.
We can request for as many servings as we can eat.
Stewed oink-oink leg
Fried prawns
Steamed white / golden pomfret (not sure which).
Green veggie topped with stewed sea cucumber.

After a scrumptious dinner, it was time to celebrate our friend's birthday.
The cruise management has prepared a complimentary birthday cake
for those celebrating their birthday on the cruise.
Singing "Happy Birthday" song and cake cutting!
To our friends:
"Wishing you both good health, joy and many great years ahead!"

DeleteI love the way they treat you when you get back to the ship. I do the same regarding photos to remember for my cruise. I have 12 photo books about our cruise. Each book has 200 photo places to fill. Some days I just pull them out and see what my cruises were like. Sheer enjoyment. See ya Nancy.

Those are beautiful shots, especially the wonderful Eagle. In this post, my favorite is the gorgeous mountain scenery. The are stunning, considering that you were moving! YES, the first thing I thought was that they remind me of the Japanese scenery water colors!
