Our younger son was back for the weekend. Initially, we were not sure whether to go for Western or Thai cuisine. So I suggested Western and Thai cuisine so we can both or either one. It was a Saturday evening, expectantly the place was full except for the non air-conditioned area. The timing was just right, a family got up to leave and we have a table in the air-conditioned area. At this weather when it is warm and humid, eating a meal in a non air-conditioned place without any breeze can be very uncomfortable.
We could smell the nice fragrance of Thai cooking and all three of us couldn't help but crave for Thai food. So we ended up ordering the following dishes for our dinner.
A plate of oyster egg omelette (medium) @ RM 15.00.
Lemon steamed fish @ RM 55.00
Green Curry Pork (small) @ RM 16.00
Tom Yam Goong (Chicken) (small) @ RM 11.90
Lots of chicken breast meat in the Tom Yam.
It was a very appetizing and satisfying meal.
Total cost of dinner for 3 people - RM 110.20 incl. rice & drinks.
Sunrise to start off the new day.

Linking to Saturday's Critters.
He heard their cries from heaven,
and remembered his promise to Abraham, Isaac,
and Jacob to bring their descendants back into the land of Canaan.
Looking down upon them,
he knew that the time had come for their rescue.

DeleteAsian cooking has stronger smells compared to Western. Especially Thai cooking! No wonder you went for that.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, Stacy! The smell makes the decision for us.
DeleteTasty and Flavourful dishes! Can eat many bowls of rice although I am not eating rice so I am deprived of the wonderful taste of eating rice with these dishes.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I will taste a little rice depending on the dishes.
