The first time we had dinner at Chuen Kah Fook Restaurant, it was a good dinner. Three days later, we went back to the same restaurant to try other dishes. This time we could order extra dishes because there were 6 people to share the food.
Deep fried tofu with minced pork.
Loh Hon Chai - a vegetarian dish consisting of cabbage, carrot, black fungus, broccoli, tofu puffs, etc.
Stewed Pork leg and daikon (white radish).
Water spinach (kangkong) cooked with prawn paste (belacan) in clay pot.
Steamed Tilapia topped with spicy chili garlic sauce.
Dinner for 6 people - RM 118.40
(including Chinese tea & 4 plates of small portion rice.
My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
(Psalm 73:26, New International Version-NIV)
...the Loh Hon Chai looks wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI love this dish.
Deletelove the fish and green vegetable....yummy
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tanza.
DeleteMy kids like such deep fried toufu with minced meat. Enough to go with their rice. I would love to try the steamed tilapia but hope it isnt too spicy to cover the freshness and sweetness of the fish. I usually prefer milder taste for steamed fish to taste the fish natural sweetness.
ReplyDeleteI too love the deep fried tofu with minced meat. If the fish is fresh, then the milder taste would be good.
DeleteOh my that looks so very good. I wish I could have dinner with you.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day, Nancy. ♥
Thank you, Sandee. Wish you are staying nearer.
DeleteThose small dishes are good because you can share with your group of friends. Always great when you know you'll get tasty food because you've been to the eatery before.
ReplyDeleteYes and we are more confident to try other dishes. But sometimes, there are disappointment.
