This was a Tuesday morning in April.
Sunrise at 7:12am
Starting out on our morning walk.
After a round of morning walk, we stopped at one of our regular coffee shop for shredded chicken noodle (kai si hor fun).
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner.
Drunken Prawns Soup, great for rainy days.
(Prawns, home made glutinous rice wine, wood fungus, goji berries, ginger)
Minced pork with belimbing buluh, dried chilies, garlic.
Sauteed home grown green amaranth with garlic and salt.
One morning, we were in town and hubby made a stop near the GreatWall Cafe at Jalan Lau Ek Ching. I was waiting for him in the car and I happened to turn my head and saw this mural on the side wall of the cafe.
When hubby returned to the car, I got down to take a few snapshots.
Hmmm....smelling the nice aroma of coffee.....
On the side wall.
An appropriate mural on the side wall of the Greatwall Cafe.
Linking to Monday Mural.
Blessed is the Lord,
for he has shown me that his never-failing love
protects me like the walls of a fort!
(Psalm 31:21, The Living Bible-TLB)
A very pretty and artistic mural!
DeleteLovely food and great mural find. I've trained my husband to look for murals for me, lol. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals Nancy
ReplyDeleteSometimes my hubby will look out for murals for me too, lol! He goes out more often than me and has better chances of sporting new murals.
DeleteSo far l’ve only eaten drunken prawns at the restaurant, steamed, not so much sauce.
ReplyDeleteI like steamed prawns too especially when the prawns are fresh.
DeleteNever heard of drunken prawn soup till now
ReplyDeleteGreat photos
It is prawns in soup with wine in it.
DeleteYour self cooked drunken Prawn Soup is so suitable to be consumed during raining weather. Now it has started to rain again. Have you drink the coffee of the Greatwall cafe before?
ReplyDeleteI have tried the coffee in Bercham but not yet in this cafe in town.
DeleteThe sunrise was beautiful, and that mural is just right for the place.
ReplyDeleteDrunken prawns, that name always makes me want to laugh, although i am sure it's delicious.
Lol! The prawns get drunk in the wine soup. Hahahaa....
DeleteThat’s a well-done mural! Is it tea or coffee, I wonder.
ReplyDeleteIt is coffee. The word coffee can be found at one corner of the mural.
DeleteThank you, Francisco.
ReplyDeleteInteresting way to use the belimbing buluh. I must check the trees in my taman more frequently to see if they're fruiting (and steal some hehe).
ReplyDeleteThe artist is so talented. I guess artists must be commissioned to do these type of murals.
I would love to plant but no space in my garden. So I depend on my friend's tree.
DeleteBuen dÃa Nancy.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Teresa.
