Orange Firecracker Flowers From My Garden

As the weather is getting hotter, some of the plants in my garden seem happier than the others. One of the happy plants is this pot of yellowish orange firecracker plants.
Throughout the cool weather, there was no sign of flowers.
Recently, the plants started to flower.
The flowers are multi layered petals.
Behind these orange firecrackers are the single layered petals pink firecracker flowers.
These bright orange flowers help to brighten up my garden and bring a smile to my face.

Who is like the wise?
Who knows the explanation of things?
A person's wisdom brightens their face and changes its hard appearance.

Growing Yellow Firecracker Plants In My Garden.

Last year, I did a post on the Orang/Pink Firecracker or Crossandra plant.  If you are interested, you can click here to read about it. Today, I am sharing about the Yellow Crossandra or Firecracker flowering plant.
I started growing this Yellow Crossandra from stem cuttings from my sister's garden.
It has dark green leaves and the flowers are in clusters.
I used normal garden soil bought from the plants nursery. I grow it in a pot. It can be grown in partial shade or fully exposed to sun.
I fertilized it twice a month.
This plant can grow quite tall. I trim it to cause more branches to grow and to give a bushier look.
The yellow petals are bigger than the pink ones.
This is the Orange/Pink Crossandra or Firecracker flower. Both the Orange/Pink and Yellow Crossandra bloom all the year round.
So let it grow, and don't try to squirm out of your problems.
For when your patience is finally in full bloom,
then you will be ready for anything,
strong in character, full and complete.
