Lunch With Sisters At Asow Eatery Canteen, Ipoh

We were looking forward to this lunch outing which we have planned a few days ahead. A sister suggested Asow Eatery Canteen which is located at 187a, Jalan Sultan Iskandar (formerly Hugh Low Street), Taman Jubilee, Ipoh.

Being a weekday, there was no crowd.

We can pick and choose a nice table to enjoy our meal and fellowship.

Lots of indoor plants and nice decoration.

After going through the menu, we settled for the day's special set lunch.

3 sets of fish and chips.

Garlic bread.

Ice blended sour sop and soup of the day.

Fish (white tuna) and chips.

Side order - popcorn chicken.

Thanks to one sister who insisted on giving us this lunch treat.

Lunch At Breda Cafe, Ipoh

One fine day, a friend of mine sent me a message to inform that she is able to have lunch with me the next day. She is a very busy wife and mother, and it is not often we get to enjoy each other's company. So it was a pleasant and wonderful surprise and of course, I dropped everything just to accommodate her since she is seldom available.

My friend suggested a new place which I haven't been to because she knows that I look forward to sampling new food in new places. I drove over to her house, and got into her car. There was a lot of catching up to do since our previous meeting and foodie outing.

We chose a table, sat down and went through the menu.

Customers are to order and pay at the counter, then the food will be served to the table.

Fish and chips for me @ RM 23.90

Alaska pollock fish with tartar sauce, served with French fries and smashed green beans.

Black pepper chicken chop for my friend @ RM 19.90

Grilled chicken chop served with blt pasta salad.
