Prawn Noodles, Steamed Prawns & Steamed Brinjals

Our day started early with a snapshot of the sky before our morning walk.

~~~~~
Breakfast at Restoran Lou Fa Fa Lou (Restaurant 6886),
Bandar Baru Menglembu.
2 bowls of prawn noodles.
We asked for wonton noodle instead of yellow noodle.
Prawn noodle with 2 prawns, fish cake slices and half boiled egg. The extra half egg was from hubby's bowl and we added some fried beancurd sheet.
Fish crackers.
We also bought some fried snacks from this shop.
Fried crunchy bean curd sheet.
This is worth buying again on our next trip.
Green brinjal from my garden.
Dark purple brinjal from my garden.
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner.
I used both the green and purple brinjals for steaming. After steaming, I sprinkled garlic oil, oyster and soy sauce over the brinjals.
Steamed prawns with ginger strips, goji berries and raisin wine.
Steamed rice with steamed prawns and steamed brinjals.
Steaming is simple and easy and healthier.

Instead, we will lovingly follow the truth at all times - speaking truly,
dealing truly, living truly - and so become more and more
in every way like Christ who is the Head of his body, the Church.
Under his direction, the whole body is fitted together perfectly,
and each part in its own special way helps the other parts,
so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.

Rice Noodle In Soup, Rojak & Ginger Omelette

For the past few days, it was a mixture of sunny and rainy days. According to the weather forecast, there was a possibility of thunderstorm but there was none in our area.

Morning sky at 6:55am.
Looking at the sky, it might rain later in the day.
Can you see the 2 birds on the power line on the right?

After morning walk, we drove out to town to buy breakfast.
Fried yong tau foo (stuffed bean curd sheet, stuffed bitter gourd and stuffed long beans) with fish paste.
3 pieces of crunchy fish crackers.
It was hubby's.
Lai fun (rice noodle) in clear soup with 2 pieces of fish cake, garnished with spring onion and sprinkling of sesame seeds.
This was mine, with a piece of stuffed white tofu.
Our breakfast.
Milo (left) for hubby and Bru coffee (right) for me.
My Bauhiana Kockiana plant in front of my house.
Lunch
Hubby bought rojak (pasar malam version).
A friend asked me to help her buy this Lemon Honey Bentong Ginger. I was at the shop and was told that there was no stock.
The lady boss recommended this. According to my friend, the one with the yellow cap tastes better than the one with green cap. Hope it will be available on my next trip to the shop.

Home cooked dinner
Sometimes, I don't know what to cook. Since I need to clear the eggs from my fridge, I decided to cook omelette.
I ended up cooking julienned ginger omelette with sesame oil.
Blanched broccoli.
No more garlic oil, so I used the remaining sesame dressing.
This was our dinner with left over ABC soup and steamed rice.

The snap shot (below) was taken in May, 2015 when we visited the Kinta Tin Mining (Gravel Pump) Museum.
Wooden buckets and wheelbarrow used by tin mining workers.

There is going to come a time of testing at Christ's Judgment Day
to see what kind of material each builder has used.
Everyone's work will be put through the fire so that all can see
whether or not it keeps its value, and what was really accomplished.
