Once again we, the 3 families gathered together for a dinner at Restoran Shun Min along Jalan Pasir Pinji. We have to be there early in order to secure a table. The restaurant is always packed during the peak dinner hours. We chose this place because the food is tasty and the price reasonable. Altogether there were 7 of us, 3 pairs of senior couples and 1 young man.
The first dish is deep fried tofu with minced meat in gravy.
Steamed yam with pork belly (woo tau kow yoke).
Stir fried crunchy french beans with garlic.
Steamed Tilapia fish with spicy paste.
Stir fried lettuce with fermented soya paste (fu yee).
Half way through our dinner, we ordered some cold desserts to ensure they came on time.
We ordered 2 bowls of ice kacang with palm sugar to share.
And a big bowl of fresh fruits with ice shavings and ice cream to share.

This is the restaurant along Jalan Pasir Pinji.
We have a food-filling dinner and a wonderful fellowship. And we thank the young man, the son of our friends for this delicious dinner.
