Growing Colourful, Exotic Caladiums In My Garden #3

Some Caladiums are more hardy than others. Caladiums do not like too much water especially when they get really soaked during the rainy seasons. It helps to have the soil with very good water drainage. Caladiums will also not do well when exposed to too much sun.

There are some varieties of Caladiums that are commonly attacked by mealy bugs (white, powdery bugs). Others do not seem to have the mealy bugs problem.

When I was at the plant nursery recently, I noticed some new varieties which I have never seen before. I was so tempted to buy some and I have to keep reminding myself not to be an impulsive buyer. Since the GST implementation, I have not been to the plant nursery.  Sooner or later, I will have to go and find out whether I will have to pay extra for plants, gardening soil, fertilizer and etc.
