I have heard of Jelapang's tasty stuffed tofu and it was only recently that I get to taste these tofu and I love them. These tofu really tasted and smelled so fresh. Here the tofu are freshly prepared behind the shop. When the tofu are prepared, the tofu are then stuffed and brought out to the front stall to be sold. So these tofu rightly home made and cooked tofu.
Today, we went back to Coffee Shop Seen Yoon, No. 778, Jalan Jelapang for lunch. This shop is 3 shops away from Restoran Seong Seng which is popular for its rojak. The shop opens for breakfast and lunch.
We didn't order any noodle, we only took ingredients. 2 pieces each of stuffed white and fried tofu and 1 big piece of plain fried tofu cut into four pieces.
Look at all those soybeans! I am thinking it shows how fresh their ingredients are.
ReplyDeleteThey are really fresh.

ReplyDeletevery, very tasty. I love the taste and the smell of the fresh tofu.
DeleteI used to eat a lot of tofu but now I'm not allowed to eat anything with soy in it so because it contain estrogen so I'm content to just look at the food. I have to read every labels on the prepared food I buy and there's soy or soy by-products in just about everything we buy.
