My Second Visit to Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village, Ipoh.

Two Saturdays ago, I followed my friends to Qing Xin Ling Leisure & Cultural Village for a visit. It was my 2nd visit to this place. My 1st visit was last year, in March, 2015. To visit and read the posts, you can click here & here. There was no entrance fee for my 1st visit because they were still in the preparation stage. For the recent or 2nd visit, we were charged MYR 6.00 per person. The rate is same for both adults and children.

My friends came to pick me up from my house at about 8.30 am and off we went for our breakfast at Perak Stadium. The fried noodle stall was very busy so we adults ended up eating beef noodles and the children ate roti canai (Indian flat bread).
My bowl of flat rice noodles with beef and white radish soup.
And I added these 2 tasty fried meat balls.
After breakfast, we were ready for the Cultural Village visit.
The inside of Cultural Village. Can you see the opposite wavy concrete fence?
The grandpa and grandson having fun testing out a twin rider bicycle.
Yay! Grandpa, we did it!
The husband and wife team - looking steady on a twin rider bicycle.
 Here we go.......steady does it!
Grandson asked grandpa, "Is it too heavy for you? Do you need my help?"

Come to me and I will give you rest -
all of you who work so hard beneath a heavy yoke.
Wear my yoke - for it fits perfectly -
and let me teach you; for I am gentle and humble,
and you shall find rest for your souls;
for I give you only light burdens.
(Matthew 11:28, The Living Bible-TLB)
We are ready to start our cycling tour......
"Come on, hop in! Join us for a ride in this tricycle carriage."
 Wall murals.
This painting of the man holding an empty coca-cola bottle reminds me of the comedy film in the 1980s "The Gods Must Be Crazy". It made me laughed so much till my jaw aches.
Watch out for the tiger! Someone left the cage door opened!
Well-wishes and quotes hanging on the concrete wall.
Let's go up and explore the pirate ship.
Took snapshots of some fierce looking pirate paintings on the ship.

How about a cool beer before leaving the ship?
This view was taken from above the pirate ship.
Food and drinks for those who are hungry and thirsty.
My favourite photo from the Cultural Village.

  11. These are awesome wonderful shots!! I love the pretty and unusual wall, and ALL the colorful murals, especially the pirate ones. And the posted notes are like art themselves, they are done so prettily. So much to see, and what great fun it must have been riding all around there!

  24. Hello Nancy!:) I'm going to start with your last photo,...it's magical isn't it! Love the meandering path with the cliffs on one side and the water on the other. The paintings are fun, and you took nice photos of the family enjoying riding their bicycles. I also like the wavy fence, and it's a lovely photo.:)
