On the 2nd day in Genting at about 3 pm, we were at Resort Hotel and we took a few outdoor snapshots. It was cool and not windy. We didn't walk over to the Maxims hotel, just took a front view snapshot of it.
Maxims Hotel
There were times when the fog was so dense, I thought there was a blank wall facing me up close when I opened my hotel room window.
The colourful building is the First World Hotel where we stayed.
Front entrance to Resort Hotel.
Interior designs of hotel.
Passage way decorated with silver pots.
Lake at the Indoor Theme park.
When inside the Indoor Theme Park or the casinos, one can easily lose track of the time.
On our 2nd day, we saw a sudden increase of foreign tourists coming in groups led by their tour guides. We had to watch out for one another that we do not get separated from our own group.
Long queue waiting to apply for casino membership cards.
By the 2nd day, our feet had gotten used to all the walking. Due to all the walking, I slept better on the 2nd night.
I can't remember the name of the place we had our 2nd night dinner, but the food was good and tasty. We ordered 3 types of steamed rice.
#1 - Kung Po chicken served on top of the steamed rice in a pot.
#2 - Kam Heong chicken served on top of the steamed rice in a pot.
#3 - Ginger chicken served on top of the steamed rice in a pot.
No photo for #3 because it turned out very blurr.

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
I found this beautiful green critter on my Chinese Lemon Leaf or Cuban Oregano Leaf while I was watering my plants.
It looks like it has 2 eyes and a small mouth on top of a big mouth and it was looking at me!
Such a beautiful critter - an amazing creation of our God The Creator.

At the Flood the Lord showed his control of all creation.
Now he continues to unveil his power.

Beautiful moth. Looks like the Oleander Hawk Moth – Daphnis Nerii
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mosura. Have a beautiful day!
DeleteSurely this bug cannot be real, it is amazing! It looks like it was painted, and blends in with the leaf perfectly. It is so intricate!! Love the colorful hotel outside. My favorites are the row of silver pots on the lighted blue pedestals, and the blue and green ceiling designs. This is a stunning place, so much to see!

ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. The moth was a surprised sighting!
DeleteLove the hotel and your photos. The Oleander moth is beautiful, but take care as both the moth and the caterpillar are poisonous if eaten by children or animals. Take care Diane
ReplyDeleteHaving said that, if the caterpillar is not feeding on Oleander I doubt if it will be poisonous but not worth chancing it.
DeleteThank you, Diane for your concern. I didn't know that this beautiful moth could be poisonous. Currently I do not have any pets or little children. Bless you, Diane.
