On the last morning of our 3 days, 2 nights stay in Fraser's Hill, we did one more round of morning walk downhill and back again to the bungalow before breakfast. The downhill and uphill exercise was straining and good for our leg muscles and for the next 2 days we had aching leg muscles.

The youngest member of our group expressed interest in joining our early morning walk and we were waiting for him to get ready before we start.
Time was 6.40 am when we started our walk. We had the moonlight and the rising sun to light the way.
We had a clear view of Genting Highlands from where we were standing. We can see the lights on top of the mountains where Genting Highland is.
A few more clicks while waiting for the others to get ready. Hedges as fences.
We can hear birds chirping and singing and some were searching for food among the trees. We also sighted some squirrels moving from branches to branches. Besides these, there were also all kinds of insects sound.
Our walk took us downhill to this welcome sign.
We found these beautiful white lilies growing near the welcome sign.
We didn't go any further from here and we made a U-turn uphill back to the bungalow.
Taking about Genting Highlands, we saw this road sign "Genting Road" here in Fraser's Hill! Some time ago, there was talk about linking up the three popular highlands (Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands & Fraser's Hill) but until now it remained just a suggestion.
I love this twin tree ferns and took a snapshot on our returning uphill walk.
Something interesting stopped us to take a look.

And here is what we had for breakfast on our last morning: a piece of bacon, 1 sausage and 2 fried eggs on a plate. Not shown in the photo were toasted bread with butter and jam, coffee and tea.
Linking to Good Fences.
Jesus said, "Are you being willfully stupid?
Don't you see that what you swallow can't contaminate you?
It doesn't enter your heart but your stomach,
works its way through the intestines, and is finally flushed."
(That took care of dietary quibbling:
Jesus was saying that all foods are fit to eat.)

Thank you, Libby. I love eating this type of breakfast once in a while but usually back home, we will have the noodle breakfast. Fraser's Hill is the least developed out of the 3 highlands.

DeleteIt is all so beautiful!! This is a typical American breakfast!! The fern trees are amazing and gorgeous. They make such a beautiful and lacy effect against the sky. Here, the white Lilies are used as Easter Lilies and the stores are full of them. But I have never seen them actually growing!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny. This is the first time I have seen this type of white lilies. The common ones we see here are the spider lilies.
DeleteNancy, I've always admire folks who got a little exercise down before breakfast. Unfortunately, I've not been able to adapt such habits. It's supposed to be really good for you do it that way, though. I enjoyed your photo journey and your breakfast looks yummy! Now, I want big breakfast of eggs, gravy, biscuits, grits, and sausage plus coffee and orange juice. :D Thanks for popping over for a visit. Be well, my friend!
ReplyDeleteI started morning exercise before breakfast after I retired from my job. My breakfast is usually heavy for my first meal!
