One morning after our early morning walk, I mentioned that I felt like eating Hakka noodle. I meant the Hakka noodle at Restoran Hakka in Pasir Puteh, same row as the Restoran Pusing Public. We have to be there early to find seats because it is usually packed in the early morning. If we are late, we will be disappointed because the food will be sold out.
Authentic Hakka noodle with diced meat pieces and fat, crunchy bean sprouts.
Deep fried meat balls, dumplings and stuffed eggplant/brinjal.
Meat balls, fish balls and stuffed tofu in clear soup.
The coffee shop lady is one fussy person and she is not even old. She will insists that customers share table to fill up the seats. A couple was not pleased when told to move to join another table.
Customers queuing up at the stall to order their food.

Early in the morning before the sun is up,
I am praying and pointing out how much I trust in you.

I love your meal send a puece of it to Poland
ReplyDeleteOk, one coming your way! Lol! Have a beautiful day, Gosia!
DeleteNice photos Nancy. Wish you have a lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteThank you, dear. Have a lovely weekend too!
DeleteGorgeous, gorgeous sunrise pictures!! This Hakka Noodle dish looks very good! I would love to taste it. If that lady keeps acting like this, she will be losing customers. People want to have a relaxing meal out, not be bossed to sit with strangers. The food looks great, but I would never go back.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny. Some customers will not come back but many faithful ones keep returning. Business is still good!
DeleteI loves deep fried meat ball...

DeleteShe will be such a terrible fusspot when she IS old hehe.
ReplyDeleteHa ha...very likely she will be! Have a good weekend!
DeleteOh, the coffee shop lady is so bossy!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! Oh yes, she is! I wouldn't like her spoiling my mood early in the morning, so have to be careful where we sit.
Deleteshould use smaller tables so that couples can sit by themselves. have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mun. They have very limited space. Customers usually share table.
DeleteHello, love the pretty sky shots. Sounds like the lady does not have enough tables for the customers. Happy Friday, enjoy your day and weekend!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Eileen. It is true that they do not have enough tables. Have a beautiful weekend!

ReplyDeleteThank you, dear. Have a beautiful weekend!
DeleteYour sky pictures are lovely, and the lady better cook well enough that customers don't mind her being bossy!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mimi. She is the one in charge of drinks only. I guess the regular patrons are being patient with her.
DeleteHakka noodles!!! you've made me drooling..
ReplyDeleteThank you, Krishna. The Hakka noodle is really tasty! Have a wonderful day!
DeleteAs always, you eat very well. I love the not old fussy lady. There are a few places like that here in the USA. They will tell you where to sit and when you are done and not leaving, they tell you to get up and go so somebody else can sit down.
ReplyDeleteHi Yogi, it is especially so with places here with insufficient seats for customers and when business is good with customers waiting around, we have to leave once we are done with our food. It is better to leave on our own before being told to do so.
DeleteWe just had Hakka mee for breakfast today, but at the one along Hugh Low Street.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I remember the one at Hugh Low Street but have not been there for a long time. I have even forgotten how the noodle tastes like.
Deletefood here are very tempting
ReplyDeleteThank you, Thomas. They taste great! Have a great day!
DeleteI will most certainly try this noodle dish since my mom is Hakka ..haha. Nothing makes me happier than eating food that reminds us of our roots.
ReplyDeleteI am not a Hakka but I have learned to love some Hakka dishes.
