I didn't feel like eating noodle for breakfast. As usual hubby ordered his usual pork noodle when he is here at Pusat Makanan Sun Hor Lok. I looked around and saw some Nyonya kuih and packed nasi lemak on the tables. The kuih and nasi lemak are sold by the coffee shop boss. This time, I didn't take the nasi lemak but chose to eat the kueh.
I took a packet of black eye bean kuih or cake and a packet of glutinous flour skin with bean paste as filling.
I squeezed the chili sauce onto the 2 pieces of steamed black eye bean cake @ RM 2.
Yellow version of ang koo kuih @ RM 2.
The kueh is packed with bean paste filling.
Hubby's bowl of noodle - minced pork, pork slices & liver slices.
To complete our breakfast with unsweetened hot black coffee for hubby and kopi C which is unsweetened hot coffee with evaporated milk.
Best wishes from my garden. A pic of my Chinese Honeysuckle.
If you hear me call and open the door,
I'll come right in and sit down at supper with you.
Conquerors will sit alongside me at the head table, just as I,
having conquered, took the place of honor at the side of my Father.
That's my gift to the conquerors!

DeleteI'm amazed at how different foods are from all around the world! When I homeschooled my son, we would research the foods of a certain country or region. One of his assignments was to cook a meal from each country we studied. Do you know what he made every single time? Stew! He always found a stew recipe!
ReplyDeleteOur foods may be different but flowers are universal! Honeysuckle is one of my all time favorites!
I imagine your meal smelled as delicious as it looked!
