We drove to the place we wanted to have dinner but found it closed. Then my friend suggested that since we were in the vicinity, we might as well try out the new place in Fair Park. This new place is Classic Dining Restaurant, which we have passed by many times.
As we walked in, we saw a couple having dinner and we were the 2nd customers. The time was about 6.30 pm on a Friday. Looked like we were ahead of the dinner crowd. We didn't have to wait long for our food, In fact, the food was fast in arriving at our table that the photo taking will have to wait till after dinner. So first, let us enjoy all the delicious food that we have ordered for our dinner.

Give me your lantern and compass, give me a map.
So I can find my way to the sacred mountain,
to the place of your presence.
To enter the place of worship, meet my exuberant God.
Sing my thanks with a harp, magnificent God, my God.

Very nice dishes, Nancy... Next time we go...
ReplyDeleteHa ha...waiting for you. I wanna try the bak chang.
DeleteThis is an especially nice place, fancy too! The wood table is very impressive. I think more for art than for actually eating at, the stumps would be very uncomfortable. I love the teacups and door, the place has a very open feel to it, and the food looks great! Good thing your first choice was closed!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny. The first closed was a blessing in disguise. And we get to eat in this new place. It was a great evening with good food and company.
