Last month we received a call from a friend. He needed us to pick him up from the railway station and send him to the car workshop to get back his company car. His car was involved in an accident which I have posted here. The car had been in the workshop and he had to wait for about 3 months before he could collect his car.
One of the many car workshops near Bandar Cyber.
While our friend was checking his car with one of the staff, I found these rusty trucks in the compound. After everything was settled, we went for dinner. The nearest place we know of is Likarli restaurant.
Steamed Tilapia with spicy bean sauce.
Deep fried tofu topped with minced meat and onion oil.
Stir fried sweet potato leaves with garlic.
These were more than enough for 3 people.
The Mighty One, God, the LORD, speaks and summons the earth
from the rising of the sun to where it sets.
(Psalm 50:1, New International Version-NIV)

DeletePotatoes leaves with garlic sounds so strange in Europe

DeleteThat seems a long wait for a car to be fixed.
ReplyDeleteIt had to do with something between the insurance claim and the workshop.
DeleteWow I am going to try swest potato leaves tomorrow night they sound delish and I have them growing in my garden. Thanks Diane
ReplyDeleteI hope you like them and you will have to use the tender leaves and stalks.
DeleteThat is an awful long time for a garage to fix a car, even if it was totally wrecked. Surely they cannot do anything with the rusted trucks! Your sunset is beautiful! So this is a police station? Something new for me to see. It looks rather inviting, not stern like some of the ones here. But I bet there is not much crime there.
ReplyDeleteIt is a police station in a small fishing town. Most small towns are peaceful ones.
DeleteI like all your fences and the verse from the Bible
