The Golden Girls got together again 2 weeks before the Chinese New Year. After that each of us will be busy with our own things such as spring cleaning, shopping, marketing, etc. All our children will be back to celebrate the reunion dinner on the eve of Chinese New Year i.e. this evening. As I am typing this, I am waiting for the time to cook dinner for my family. Some families opted to have reunion lunch while others including my family preferred to have a reunion dinner as we have been doing for many years.
Okay, back to this post. The Golden Girls chose to have our lunch at The Stone at Jalan Bahru Pinji Centrepoint, Ipoh. This area is a busy place and parking is a problem. We have to park quite a distance away and walked to The Stone. We were the first customers and later a couple came in to sit a few tables away.

Our drinks - Sour plum (2 hot, 2 cold)
Everyone had mushroom soup.
We ordered and shared the following food.
Fried rice with egg sunny side up.
Bacon Aglio Olio sphagetti
Minced Pork noodle
Same as above - after being mixed.
Southern chicken wing paprika mayo.
Total cost of lunch for 4 people including GST = MYR 89.25.

For we must never forget, dear brothers,
what happened to our people in the wilderness long ago.
God guided them by sending a cloud
that moved along ahead of them;
and he brought them all safely through the waters of the Red Sea.
(1 Corinthians 10:1, The Living Bible-TLB)
