That evening we had an early home cooked dinner and it was quite a light one. By 9 pm, someone was thinking of desserts. This is the first time we looked for dessert when we were in Johor Bahru. So all five of us went out in a car and we were brought to this place called Tian Yuan Dessert Hut. Looks like this area is full of eateries of all sorts.
Items such as the above "Honey dew sago" and a few others were sold out.
Some waiting to take away their orders.
Whether you are eating in or taking away, all orders to be made at the counter.
After going through the menu, we ordered one of the above.
It is Peanut Paste with Black Sesame Paste, 2-in-1.
This is how the actual dessert looks like.
The black sesame paste on the left and the peanut paste on the right.
Now, why did my itchy hand go and mixed it all up?
Again it looks like another type of baby food!
No wonder my friend quickly ordered another one! Lol!
Somehow we managed to taste the different tastes and found that this rich and creamy peanut paste tastes so much better!
Another ordered this milky ginkgo nuts, barley and beancurd dessert to soothe the throat and tummy.
God blesses those who are kind to the poor.
He helps them out of their troubles.
He protects them and keeps them alive;
he publicly honors them and destroys the power of their enemies.
He nurses them when they are sick and soothes their pains and worries.
(Psalm 41:1-3, The Living Bible-TLB)
The desserts look so tasty, i like both the peanut paste and beancurd
