Prawn Noodles & Fish Head Curry On A Rainy Day

The weather is getting warmer now. Last few months were wet months and the rain helped to water my plants in my garden. When the weather is cool my plants are happy. When the weather is cool, we have good appetite for spicy food. 

On one of those cool days, we started with our early morning walk at the park. As usual, I always look forward to the sunrise at the park.

 That morning after our walking exercise, we had prawn noodle for breakfast at Kafe Little Nam Yeong, Jalan Chew Sin Onn, Taman Hoover, Ipoh.
Evening sky @ 6.15 pm - On our way out for dinner.
And for dinner, we had fish head curry at Restoran Mun Ji, Laluan Rasi Jaya 2, Taman Rasi Jaya, Ipoh.
 Whenever we ordered fish head curry at this restaurant, we need only add a plate of blanched green. Both the curry with all its accompanying ingredients and green are enough for 4 people.

The next 2 pictures were taken at the National Museum, KL.
 This figurehead shaped like a dragon's head is made of wood from a jackfruit tree. It is carved with a pattern of intertwined bean tendrils, and was used as an adornment for a boat belonging to Malay royalty. It was owned by the royal family of Pahang in the late 19th century and is more than a century old. (Excerpt from the museum).
 This gold buckle is inlaid with gemstones in a pattern of plant tendrils. The gems are arranged in threes, and contribute to the elegance of the wearer. The buckle was in fact worn by royal personages during ceremonial assemblies. It is more than 100 years old. (Info from the museum)

Sharing my Pink Dwarf Mexican Petunia with Happy Tuesday.
This photo was taken just after the rain has stopped.
You can see the water droplets on the flowers.


When they walk through the Valley of Weeping,
it will become a place of springs where pools of blessing
and refreshment collect after rains!
