One Day Trip To Bagan Datuk, Perak

Last Thursday, my friend and I joined a group for a one day trip to Bagan Datuk. The challenge was getting up at 3:00 am in the morning and be at the meeting place by 5:00 am. By 5:30 am, everyone was finally seated and the bus was ready to go.
At about 7:00 am, the bus stopped at a petrol station.
It was time for some leg stretching and nature's call before we continued on our journey.
We finally reached Bagan Datoh at about 8:00 am. We had breakfast at this Kedai Kopi Foh Seng (coffee shop) which is in front of the pier.
Nearby is this water gate station and pump house, Sg. Keling, Bagan Datuk.
While waiting for the others to finished their breakfast, I walked over here to get some snapshots.
This snapshot was taken from the bridge in front of the pump house.
This was on the right side as we walked to the pier.
 Entering the pier.
 Blue Tears Island Pier.
Colourful ribbons and lanterns hanging from the ceiling.
We have about 2 hours to relax or do whatever we like before boarding the boat at 11:00 am.
 Overcast sky the whole day.
Nothing much to see or photograph from here.
To while away the time, there was a karaoke (singing) session.
Some chose to chat while other chose to take a short nap.
Others were dancing to the music.
At 11:00 am sharp, the boat was ready to take us out to sea.
Will continue on the next post.

But when you ask him, be sure that you really expect him to tell you,
for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea
that is driven and tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make
will be uncertain, as you turn first this way and then that.
If you don't ask with faith, don't expect the Lord
to give you any solid answer.
(James 1:6-8, The Living Bible-TLB)
