Nasi Kandar & Home Cooked Fried Rice

It is Friday again and the weather is still very warm. There has been some light drizzle but hardly enough to wet the ground. Today, I am sharing sunrise shots taken on the first Monday of June.
#1 shot taken at 6:40 am before we drove to the park.
#2 shot taken at the park at 6:55 am
 #3 shot taken at 7:00 am
 #4 shot taken at 7:12 am - an overcast sky.
On his way home, hubby stopped to buy a packet of "Nasi Kandar" (Mamak rice) for us to share for lunch. There were 2 fried chicken drumsticks, half a salted egg with all the spicy sauce.
Light pink Periwinkle flowers from my garden. The flowers has a yellow with dark pink outer circle.

That evening, I just felt like eating fried rice.
 Simple fried rice with onions, dried prawns, and egg.
 A plate of mixed veggies cooked with salted black beans and home made beef balls. The white bitter gourd and okras were from my garden.
 A very satisfying simple home cooked dinner for 2 people.
Purple Periwinkle flowers with yellow and white center from my garden. This photo was taken just after a light drizzle and you can see the water droplets on the flowers and leaves.

But God has opened the eyes of those called to salvation,
both Jews and Gentiles, to see that Christ is the
mighty power of God to save them;
Christ himself is the center of God's
wise plan for their salvation.

  9. The chicken & egg meal would be my favorite. I have never tried an egg with chicken, is it soft boiled? Beautiful sky!

  10. I like the purple periwinkle flowers from your garden, so pretty! I like to eat homecooked fried rice too, especially when my mom adds a lot of onions. The mamak rice which your hubby bought must be tasty.
