Three Sundays ago after church, we had brunch at Laksa Leaf Cafe, in Canning Garden. When assam laksa is concerned, I am always interested.
It was about 11.15 am and the place looks very quiet.
When we walked in there was a table occupied by a young couple.
A nice lady welcomed us and showed us to a table.
Menu on the wall.
We were handed a menu. Hubby ordered blue rice with rendang chicken.
I took a while to decide whether I should order Nyonya curry or assam laksa.
I finally settled for assam laksa.
"Live Laugh Love"
While waiting for the food to be served, I took some snapshots from where I was seated.

We didn't order this cendol ice.
Once they realized the mistake, they quickly took it away! Lol!

This was near the payment counter.
While waiting for the change, I took this snapshot.
O Lord, you have reigned from prehistoric times,
from the everlasting past.
The mighty oceans thunder your praise.
You are mightier than all the breakers
pounding on the seashores of the world!
Your royal decrees cannot be changed.
Holiness is forever the keynote of your reign.
(Psalm 93:2-5, The Living Bible-TLB)
The last pic of the nyonya ladies looks so colourful and nice!
