Mee Jawa & Kai Si Hor Fun For Breakfast At Restoran Pulau Sembilan, Ipoh

Last Saturday, we had breakfast at Restoran Pulau Sembilan in Taman Boon Bak.
I snap this picture while we were waiting at the traffic light junction.
The birds were perched up there all in a row.
These 2 stalls are enjoying good business. The one of the left is the kai si hor fun stall and the one on the right is the nasi lemak and mee jawa stall.
We ordered 2 bowls of "kai si hor fun" and the waiting time was about 30 to 45 minutes.
While waiting, we ordered a plate of mee jawa to share.
We had a heavy and satisfying breakfast.
Back home, in front of my gate, these birds were looking for their breakfast.

We had home cooked dinner that evening.
Time for clearing stock from the fridge.
 Stewed duck white bitter gourd.
I didn't discard the layer of oil because they are good for stirring into the plain noodle.
Angled luffa cooked with dried prawns and egg.
Simple home cooked dinner for 2 people

Your laws are wonderful; no wonder I obey them.
As your plan unfolds, even the simple can understand it.
No wonder I wait expectantly for each of your commands.

  6. That photo is like the movie I saw years ago called " The Birds ". It was a horror film with Tippi Hedron. See ya Nancy.

  14. What kind of birds are those...both the ones in the traffic light shots and the ones on the ground? I just wondered if you had pigeons like we do.
