Chilled Desserts And Cute Critters

One warm afternoon, after going around town with our friends, we went to Laksa Leaf Cafe in Canning Garden. This is a nice and quiet place to hang out with friends. This place serves delicious laksa noodle and desserts. We were not hungry so we didn't order any noodle, we just order something light.
Ice Kacang (assorted treasures with ice shaving)
 Bubur cha cha
(coconut milk dessert with yam, sweet potato cubes, sago, and etc.)
From where I was seated, I saw these critter toys.

The following photos were taken while we were in Ipoh old town.
You can order coffee from this window.
To order, just squeeze this yellow critter toy.
Wooden chairs hung on the wall.

Gambling Opium Girls at this museum?
If you want to know what it is all about, you will need to visit this place.

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

The man who knows right from wrong
and has good judgment and common sense
is happier than the man who is immensely rich!
For such wisdom is far more valuable than precious jewels.
Nothing else compares with it.

I love ais kacang and bu bur cha cha but I seldom take them. Not the cold ais kacang as I seldom take cold stuff.

  12. While i have seen a small bell to call for service, i've never seen anyone use a squeeky toy for that purpose, that is unique!

    1. Great idea to get service. Just hope the sound from the squeeze is loud enough to get attention needed.
